Organic Perm Commonly Asked Questions

What is the first stage of an Organic Perm?:

Firstly, we will analyze the hair for an Organic Perm.  Book a consultation first through our website and during this time, we will take out a strand test and also converse about the next stage.

My hair is coloured. Can i proceed with an Organic Perm?

We highly recommend a strand test first if your hair is coloured. Whilst the organic perm is much gentler, it is still necessary to do a strand test.

If my hair is suitable for an Organic Perm, what happens next?

We will have a full consultation to discuss the desired outcome of the Organic Perm. This can vary from loose waves to a spiral curls. There will also be an analysis of the haircut and how it will suit the curl chosen.

How long does the Organic Perm take?

It can take between two hours for a men’s perm to three or four hours on longer hair.

How long will the Organic Perm last for?

Your Organic Perm should last for at least three to four months before the intensity will start to loosen. However, your hair won’t return to be completely straight but the volume at the roots will grow out.

How much does an Organic Perm cost?

For hair above the ears, the price starts from £140 with a stylist or £155 with a Creative Director. For medium to longer hair, it will start from £185 and £205 respectively for a Stylist and £255 to £275 respectively with the Creative Director.

Are there any other costs involved?

We prefer to dry the hair after the perm and also go through aftercare. This will cost £15 or £35 depending on the length. If the hair has old colour or perm on the ends, we highly recommend our protein building treatment beforehand. This is an additional £35.

When can i wash my hair after the perm?

You will need to wait 72 hours before shampooing the hair with a sulfate free shampoo.

How do i style my permed hair?

Our perm specialists will go through after care in the drying off stage.

When can i next perm my hair again?

After three to four months, we can analyze the hair again, but as long as care has been taken, there should be no reason you can’t have one again at this stage.
